The Home Construction Planning App That Transforms Overwhelm Into Success
Planning a custom home or major renovation should be exciting, but for most homeowners, it quickly becomes overwhelming. Scattered inspiration, unclear budgets, and the challenge of finding the right professionals turn dreams into stress. buildquest is the home construction planning app that changes everything.
Born from The Awakened Homeowner book methodology, buildquest is your comprehensive platform for organizing, planning, and launching your home building or renovation project with confidence.
Built on 35 Years of Real-World Construction Experience
BuildQuest, this home construction planning app, wasn’t created by software engineers who’ve never managed a construction project. It was born from Bill Reid’s 35+ years as a licensed general contractor and founder of RemodelWest, an award-winning design-build firm in Silicon Valley.
The Innovation Legacy
In 1999, Bill developed the Project Center, a groundbreaking web-based project management system that won recognition from the National Association of Home Builders. Twenty-five years later, that same innovative spirit has evolved into BuildQuest—now powered by modern AI and decades of additional construction experience.
This home building app is built by someone who has lived the challenges you’re about to face and has the solutions that actually work.
The buildquest Home Construction Planning App Advantage:
✅ Proprietary budget data from hundreds of real projects
✅ Silicon Valley innovation meets construction expertise
✅ National Remodeling Quality Award-winning methodology
✅ Real problems solved with practical technology

Why Homeowners Need buildquest

Homeowners juggle Pinterest boards, Excel spreadsheets, contractor estimates, and endless browser bookmarks—all while trying to make million-dollar decisions without clear guidance. Meanwhile, social media influencers flood the space with advice from people who’ve never actually managed a construction project.
